About Us -

We appreciate you taking a few minutes to allow us to introduce ourselves to you. Pastor Arlen and all of us hope learning about us here will encourage you to visit us one Sunday. The Sanctuary was founded in 1979....which led to the establishment of a small church on Park Road. At that time The Sanctuary was known as New Covenant Chapel of Charlotte. After sometime we left Charlotte and moved to Matthews in 1986. 20 years later in 2006 we moved to Indian Trail and at that time changed the name from New Covenat Chapel of Charlotte to The Sanctuary at New Covenant Chapel

Located in the town of Indian Trail NC

We are not just a church with a small church feel, we are in fact a small church albeit one full of hugs, smiles, and love. The Sanctuary is a church where everyone knows everyone else's name. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to go to a church where everyone knew your name, come visit us a couple of times and experience the warmth of Christian brotherhood and sisterhood as we gather together to worship the Lord

Mission

Our primary mission is the proclaiming of the Full Gospel Message to the world and apprising a morally lax civilization of the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and King

Beliefs

We Believe:
1. The Scriptures to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
2. In one God, eternal and self-existent, manifested to man as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
3. That Jesus Christ is the true God and true Man, having been conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary.
4. That He died on the cross and shed His blood as a sacrifice for our sins; He arose bodily from the dead; He ascended into Heaven; and He is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High.
5.In the ministry of the Holy Spirit to glorify God and His Christ, to convict men and to empower the Believer.
6. That man was created in the image of God with the express purpose to glorify God, but he fell into sin.
7. That man can be justified, saved only through a personal faith int he Lord Jesus Christ.
8. That water baptism identifies us with the death of Christ, and that we should arise to walk in the newness of life.
9. That the true Church is composed of such persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
10. That Christ wants the members of His Church to carry the Gospel into all the world.
11. That the Holy Spirit is at work today within the Church through His gifts, fruit, and anointed ministers.
12. In the person, literal Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to Judge both the quick and the dead.
13. In the bodily resurrection of all the dead - Of the Believer to everlasting blessedness, and the unbeliever to judgement and everlasting punishment.
